A proud native resident of Giddings, CNB Giddings Branch President Tim Walther brings 17 years of commercial and residential lending experience, his background as a real estate agent, and a position on the Independent Bankers Association of Texas Leadership Team to the table. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and attended the acclaimed Walt Disney World Management Service Training.
Tim Walther strongly believes that putting others before himself is important in life. For 30 years he’s been a volunteer firefighter protecting his community, and he provides a good deal of service to his church. Additional community involvement includes serving as the President of the Giddings Lions Club, President of the Giddings Chamber of Commerce, President of the Brazos Valley Bankers Association, President of the Immanuel Lutheran School Board, and a Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow. Walther was also named “Lion of the Year” by Giddings Noon Lions Club members.
In his free time, Walther is a cooking enthusiast who considers himself to be quite the chef. When not on land, he enjoys adventures of aquatic exploration as a certified scuba diver.
