With more than 17 years of banking experience—and six years prior in accounting—Dawn Robertson brings both financial expertise and a genuine passion for helping people succeed. Over the course of her career, she has served in nearly every role within a bank, including teller, banker, consumer lender, commercial lender, branch manager, regional manager, and regional commercial lender. This hands-on experience allows her to understand the full picture—both from the client’s perspective and from within the bank.

A graduate of McNeese State University, Dawn began her professional journey in accounting before being introduced to banking by a trusted friend. She quickly found her calling in commercial lending, where she could combine her analytical background with relationship-building and strategic thinking. Today, she is driven by one simple purpose: helping local businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen the communities they serve.

She believes commercial lending is ultimately about people. Her approach is rooted in listening first, understanding each client’s unique goals, and working diligently to structure financing solutions that make sense for both the business and the bank. Known for her responsiveness, strong work ethic, and thoughtful problem-solving, she is committed to being a trusted advisor her clients can rely on for the long term.

Leadership and mentorship are also central to her career. Having progressed through management and regional leadership roles, she has made it a priority to invest in her teammates. Many of the individuals she has mentored have gone on to advance into management, commercial lending, and other leadership positions—something she considers one of her proudest accomplishments.

Community involvement has always been close to her heart. While living in Louisiana, she served on nine nonprofit boards supporting children, homeless families, and community housing initiatives, including Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She believes strong communities are built through service, generosity, and collaboration.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Dawn and her husband, Scott Robertson, a proud Texan, moved to the Chappell Hill community in 2023. Together, they enjoy flying small airplanes and traveling, spending time with their three rescue pups, and cheering on their son as he attends college in Louisiana. She also loves cooking and was part of a Louisiana cooking team that prepared meals for 250+ guests at multiple community events. In addition, she operates a small catering business specializing in authentic Louisiana cuisine, bringing a taste of her roots to the community she now calls home.

Whether working with business owners, mentoring colleagues, or serving her community, Dawn is passionate about building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact wherever she can.
