Emily Garza brings a strong foundation of experience and a people-first approach to her role as Branch Service Manager. She began her banking career in 2010 as a teller, quickly building a reputation for reliability and client care. Over the years, she advanced into New Accounts and was promoted to Senior Personal Banker in 2023. After taking time away to care for her son, Emily returned in 2026 as a Senior Personal Banker and was soon promoted to Branch Service Manager, a reflection of her leadership and commitment to service.

Emily’s approach to both life and work is grounded in growth and perspective. She believes in always learning something new and brings that mindset into her leadership style. Her personal experiences have shaped her outlook, reminding her to focus on what truly matters and not to get caught up in unnecessary stress. She began working at just 16 years old at a local Sonic, where she quickly stepped into a management role by 18, an early sign of her drive and work ethic. After becoming a mother, she transitioned into banking to build a stable career that allowed her to be present for her family.

A lifelong resident of Rockdale, Emily values the relationships and sense of community that come with serving the place she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Julian, daughter Jayla, and son Jaxon, especially attending her kids’ activities and cheering on the Texas Rangers together. In her downtime, she enjoys reading and taking pride in her yard work.

She is also passionate about raising awareness for pediatric kidney disease, a cause close to her heart. Emily’s journey, both personally and professionally, reflects resilience, compassion, and a genuine dedication to the people she serves.
