Kelli Higgins brings decades of financial expertise and relationship-focused service to her role as Senior Commercial Banker. She earned her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and has been working in accounting and financial services since 1991.

Kelli’s career includes 13 years as a Credit Analyst, giving her a strong foundation in financial analysis and risk assessment. She also spent nine years as a bookkeeper for First Baptist Church, where she remains an active member. In addition to her banking and accounting experience, Kelli served as a Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics for eight years, earning two career cars, and continues to manage a successful sales business that spans over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has consistently taken on team-building roles, driven by her passion for working with and developing others.

Having lived in the Giddings area for more than 20 years, Kelli has built deep roots in the community. She is an active member of the Giddings New Horizon Lions Club, where she has served for over two decades, including leadership as a District Governor within the Texas Lions organization. This experience has allowed her to grow as a leader, mentor others, and form lasting connections locally and around the world.

Kelli believes that building strong relationships is the foundation of successful banking. Known for her positive energy and encouragement, she is often found celebrating others’ successes and cheering on those around her. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and cooking and baking. She is a proud mother of two sons, a daughter, and a son-in-law.
