Round Rock Branch Manager Kim Sander is all about bringing value to the lives of others. A native Texan, Sander has over 18 years of banking under her belt having begun as a teller soon after high school. Fourteen of those years she served as an operations and branch manager. After nearly 6 years now at CNB she feels she, “finally found where I belong — at a community bank where you can really make an impact on your local community.”
Sander makes her positive community impact outside of the branch office as well. She is a current Round Rock Police Foundation Board member, the vice president (and former treasurer) of the Leander FFA Alumni organization, and has served as the vice president of Kiwanis club. In addition, Sander is a Leadership Round Rock graduate of 2015 and coaches club volleyball. It’s no surprise that she was voted by her peers in 2018 as a, “Bank Super Star”.
Sander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management of Human Resources and graduated Magna cum Laude. She’s proud of her informal role as the local Leander FFA “barn mom” where she volunteers her time providing leadership, friendship and guidance to area kids. She thrives off of helping others realize their own potential, acting as both cheerleader and mentor to her daughter’s fellow FFA members. Citing a favorite quote by Gregory Scott Reid, Sander believes that “the greatest success we’ll know is helping others succeed and grow.”
When not working, Sander spends her time with her “FFA show family,” at the local FFA events where her daughter shows lambs and goats. She also loves hunting, fishing and camping. Most of all, she loves serving others and the simple joys of laughter.
